Jevon Bolden is the founder and CEO of Embolden Media Group, a boutique publishing consulting firm specializing in quality content development and literary services for diverse, global audiences. As a literary agent, editor, writer, and author of seven books—including the bestseller Pray Hear Write—Jevon has helped craft titles that have sold millions of copies and landed on national best-seller lists.

A champion for diversity in publishing, Jevon founded Christian Publishing Professionals of Color to support BIPOC voices and serves on the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association's DEI committee. With over 20 years of experience, Jevon began her career as a copyeditor and rose to senior roles in acquisitions and editorial for both adult and children’s books.

A sought-after speaker, writing coach, and mentor, Jevon equips creatives to publish impactful books. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English with a sociology minor from the University of Alabama in Huntsville after attending Oakwood University, a Christian HBCU. Jevon lives in Central Florida with her family and beloved Cocker Spaniels, Langston Hughes and Maya Angelou.
